It has definitely been a while since I updated this thing. What with moving and all, I have been terribly busy and have not found much time for anything besides unpacking, cleaning, and kids. I don't really feel like back-blogging everything that has happened since my last post, so for those of you who missed some things, you can just call me later.
Obviously we are in the new house now and we love it. It is definitely our dream home. There are a few minor issues, as with any new house, but they are getting resolved slowly but surely. Miles is in a twin bed, and hopes to buy some boy bedding soon, as now he is sleeping with Elle's old quilt. Other than that, we are pretty well settled in.
Morgan learned about Thanksgiving today at preschool. They made turkeys and on each of the feathers they wrote something they are thankful for. Morgan is thankful for babies, cars, and Dad. What a silly girl! She is growing up way too fast for me lately.

Arrrgh!

We had Elle and Owen's birthday party on Saturday. It was a pirate party. The kids went on a treasure hunt, dressed up with eye patches and hooks, ate cake and ice cream, and played really hard! I think everyone had a great time. Thank you to everyone who came and thank you for t
he presents- Elle has not stopped playing since!

Wall-e
I finally finished Elle's Halloween costume. She wanted to be Wall-e, but Matt and I didn't like how big the costumes looked on the kids in the catalog. So we decided to make our own. To be honest, I was pretty sure that even after I had spent over a week making it that I would hate it and end up buying one anyway. As it turns out, I absolutely love it! I had so much fun making it and I think it turned out awesome. The eyes will be attached to a black beanie and she will also wear a black turtle neck and black leggings. There are holes cut out for her arms and head. I will try to get a picture of her in it today.

Ghost Bunny
Elle has had a slight diaper rash this week and has been adamant about getting the powder for me when change her and then putting it away when we are done. I was just marveling at how good she is to handle the baby powder several times a day and not mess with it. Then, two days ago....

Elle and Morgan decided that indeed it would be fun to play with baby powder. They dumped it on their beds, on the floor, and into the toy box! Elle was white from head to toe. I asked Elle why she did that, and she told me she wanted to be Ghost Bunny! (Ghost Bunny is from Max & Ruby, for those of you who watch cartoons with your kids!!) It took a lot of cleaning, especially because I had to clean every single toy in the toy box, but we eventually got things put back together!!!
