Miles' Birthday

OK, so I'm a little late posting this. But better late than never, right?!
Miles turned 2 on March 7. He had a Spiderman birthday and had all of his cousins over. We all made our own superhero masks, watched some Kung Fu Panda, and ate some delicious Spiderman cake and ice cream. Miles got so many fun things; thank you to everyone who came. We had a blast.

The Happiest Place on Earth

This was our second year going to Disneyland. Miles even got to go with us this time. We spent 6 days in the park and had more fun than one could imagine. We stayed at the Grand California which is located in the park. The hotel has its own entrance into the park, so it was really convenient when the kids needed naps and whatnot.

The expressions on the kids' faces were priceless. Morgan just loved seeing the castle again and was so excited that she recognized all the Disney characters. She was still pretty nervous on the rides, but was definitely braver than last year.

I think Elle's favorite part of the whole trip was getting to see characters. I think we got our picture taken with Goofy four or five times. She was very brave on every ride.

Miles was awesome. I love the look on a kid's face the first time they see Disneyland. He was kind of nervous with some of the characters, but when we saw Mickey he ran right up and gave him a hug and just started talking to him. It was the cutest thing. He also saw Buzz Lightyear. He had just bought a Buzz hat and loved showing it off to the real BuzzLight. He didn't like flying too high on rides or going down a dip, but he was a good sport about going on all the rides anyway.

We did the princess dinner again, and although Morgan still didn't want to take pictures with anybody, she did talk to each princess. She would get so excited by each new princess that came out. Elle absolutely loved every moment of it, while Miles loved most of it. The girls each dressed up as a princess and Miles dressed in a little suit and tie. Every princess asked him if he would be her prince...that's my dashing, handsome little boy!

Oh, one last thing. For those of you who are insanely jealous that we got to go on the teacups and spin until we felt me might puke, I took a little video for you:

Late Update

Sorry this is so late of a post. Morgan is doing fine. She had some more shots and a few more x-rays and recovered nicely. I knew she was doing better when she got herself out of bed in the morning and came out already dressed in tights, a dress, and a headband.
We just got back this afternoon from a week at Disneyland. Pictures to come soon!
